Years Experience
My name's Stacy Power, no really, that is my actual last name.
My journey with fitness began almost 10 years ago when I lost over 100lbs through heavy lifting, increased daily movement and proper nutrition. After staying consistent with my own health and fitness for a few years I made the decision to take my passion and share it with others. I became a certified personal trainer in 2023.
One of the main reasons I decided to start this business is because when I was starting out on my journey I was not financially able to afford personal training. While I was able to meet my goals on my own, many struggle to do so, often ending up feeling lost, frustrated and defeated before they even begin.
My overall goal is to be able to provide my services for as low of a cost as possible. So, everyone has the opportunity to obtain the use of a personal trainer's skills and still feed their families. I can assure you I have put a lot of time into my education as well as time on the floor learning. I am constantly seeking out new courses and new skills to ensure I give the absolute best to my clients and myself. So, while the cost may be on the lower side my commitment is not. I want to teach you correct form, injury prevention and the kind of basics that will take you from uncomfortable and unsure of yourself in a gym setting to feeling confident and strong.
I have experience working both one on one with clients, as well as leading group strength classes and coaching couples. I combine strength training with functional fitness in 45 minute sessions that are both challenging and in my opinion, fun!
Expert-led training focused on technique, progression, and sustainable results.
While I enjoy all aspects of fitness, I excel at strength training. I am happiest when I can share my love of the barbell with clients. My greatest joy comes from seeing those around me gain strength and confidence in their ability to lift weights. I can't wait to share that knowledge and passion with you.
When it comes to my own weight loss/fitness journey, what I accomplished inside the gym mattered far less than what I accomplished outside of it. Fitness should be a natural part of who you are and how you live rather than a task you have to force yourself to complete. I myself, am very active within my community. I'm always trying new ways to move my body. (I recently ran a marathon, even though lifting is my specialty). Whether it's more steps or finding new classes to try, I will encourage my clients to find new ways to be active outside the gym.
I have my certification through NASM in nutrition coaching. While I will not be providing meal plans, I can happily provide tips & tricks to help you create healthier eating habits.
